The DALI power supply at the top energizes the line — typically 16V DC with a 250mA current limit so every node can talk reliably.

Wireless-to-DALI converters (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Matter), wall and rotary switches, DALI-2 / D4i sensors, and a KNX gateway all inject commands onto the same bus.

DALI Master and DALI Centre sit on laptops for addressing, groups and scenes. An IoT gateway extends the same network to a phone for remote checks.
